Noisy rear?

what coudl cause this... had some noise form a rear, it was a 3.42 rear with an auburn diff, and had the lsd additive.

I was wondering what you guys thought it was, was listed as having 52k and out of an 02.

Was it the bearings on the diff? I am putting a differnet rear in and thought about swapping the auburn for the zexel. But don't want to if its what is causing my noise. Any input appreciated.

Re: Noisy rear?

Probably due to the fact that it's the biggest POS that GM ever made. Sorry to break it to you.

Re: Noisy rear?

hehe I know it sucks... don't worry about me and GM poses...

Just want to know if the diff is still good, I like the feel of a auburn over a zexel torsion, I am putting another rear in I already have sitting in the garage. I don't want to put it in and get noise in the other rear.
