No 3->4 shift

Stored the car for a few months and the first day out the trans will not shift into 4th at any speed. Any ideas what causes that?

In fact; I think it's stuck in 3rd. It has no low end power like it use to. I can shift it manually though into 3rd but not 4th. Manual shift gives crisp shifts. I can not fill it shifting with the selector in OD.

3rd gear is "failsafe in a 4L60E. This means that both shift solenoids are OFF. This may be caused by the transmission not getting the proper 12 volts to it.

Thanks for the input. The battery was dead the other day. Maybe a overnight trickle charge will help.

I got to run DataMaster on it and I get a DTC 83 code "TCC control feedback fault". The code is constantly being set from the moment I start the car. I guess this comes from the TCC solenoid?? I know nothing about the inside of the trans. Any suggestions on what sets this code?

FYI. Had a 95 bin with a 94 Trans. The 94 trans doesn't had the sensor and so the pcm set a code and defaulted the trans to some sort of 3rd gear only limp mode.

Uploaded a 94 bin and everything is fine.
