New clutch, releasing at the floor.
New clutch, releasing at the floor.
1993 LT1 / T56.
I replaced my dead street twin with a Spec flywheel and stage 4 clutch + pressure plate.
I had to adjustment the rod to the peddle all the way out, only about 3-4 threads from the end and the clutch released/engages about 3/4" from the floor.
This seems way to low. Car drives and shift fine, just don't like the peddle that low. Thinking that I'll have issues shifting at high RPMs?
I have the McLoed Hydraulic Master system, it is at least 10 years old. Don't think there is air in the unit, but could the slave just be weak?
Any suggestions?
