im getting someone to install my carrier and gears in about 2 weeks. im going from my stock 2 series carrier 2.73 to a 3 series carrier with 3.42. the carrier and 3.42 gears is stock and came out of a 96 ta or camaro. im just wondering what all i need to install into mine. do i need a full install kit? or just shims?

i already know i need additive, gear oil and cover gasket.
