In the May Chevy High Performance Mag they had an article on building a better 10 bolt. They had axles, a new limited slip, new gears, set-up kit, and a girdle. They only pu tin the limited slip because the car was a 92 camaro and didn't have it at the start. They say that can handle 400rwhp in an automatic. Thats just what the article says. I hope that helps.

I honestly would not bother spending money getting new axles, carrier and girdle cover. When it is all said and done you will have a substational amount into it. FYI I put down over 500 rwhp out of a stock 10 bolt with a Strange 3.73 gear. Your biggest problem will be when you put a sticky tire on your car. Are you going to drag race you car much?

If you have a M6 you can slap some 4.11's in there.. 3.42's have 41 ring gear teeth compaired to 37 on 4.11's thus making the teeth larger not to mention the benifits the gears give you. Just happen to be doing just that tonight on my Z
