Centerforce, Spec, or RAM ??

EDIT:

My price range is between these 3 clutch kits:

RAM Powergrip Clutch Stage 2
Centerforce Dual Friction
SPEC Stage I

Which one do you think would be the best bet for a stock to mildly modded LS1 Fbody?

Re: Need a new clutch --> Centerforce?

I'd recommend a Spec stage 3. Without having a 6spd myself I can't say from personal experience. But from what I've heard the pedal effort is either exactly the same or similar to stock. And the holding power and grip of the clutch is just incredible. Not to mention the price is a little better than the Centerforce. I've also heard of quite a few people having problems with the Centerforce clutch in an F-body. Here's a link to the different stages, their purpose and prices. Theirs also the one your looking at,the McLeod dual friction(another I'd highly recommend, but it's pricey), and the SLP clutch. Good luck.

Clicky!

Thanks Jay-Roll. Someone over at Corvette Forum said the Spec clutches have had some problems, but I have seen really good reviews so I'm not sure I can trust that opinion entirely. I'll give them a call and see if I can get some more info. Thanks! -Jeremy

Forgot to say, look in transmission/gears. As if you didn't already know that.

I updated the original message, since I have found 3 different clutches that look like they fit my application:
