I just installed a SLP 2400 stall, this weekend, and whenever i drive the converter will not stay locked......it will also lock and unlock repeatedly while driving down the road.

I have custom tuning but not for the converter, but i was told this converter would need no tuning

any ideas

 

It shouldn't need tuning. My Vig. 3000rpm didn't in my 95' Z. I believe it's probably just the brand of converter. No offense but I've heard SLP converters suck. That might be your problem. Also check and make sure your fluid level is up where it should be, maybe that has some affect somehow(not sure on that one though). Good luck.
