Need help with clutch/flywheel options

I've got a 95 Formula with a stock clutch that I think is on it's last leg.

I called to a local shop today and got a couple of quotes from them for a spec stage 2 and a spec stage 3 hybrid.

My plans are to do longtubes and other bolt-on's in the future and eventually build a 383 for the car, making around 400 rwhp.

They told me my cheaper option would be to resurface the flywheel and put in a spec stage 2.

Then we got to talking about the stage 3 hybrid and they said that if I went with a stronger clutch like that, they would recommend putting in new hydraulics and a new flywheel, as opposed to resurfacing what I have. They said that they would put in new hydraulics because the car has 101K miles on it and with a stiffer clutch requiring more pressure to operate that my stockers may not last very long.

From what they said I don't have to do this all at once necessarily, that the hydraulics can be changed out w/o removing the clutch or transmission.

So right now I am leaning toward getting a stage 3 hybrid and hydraulics from them and putting them in with a friend who's done this before. However I am unsure about the flywheel situation.

Do you guys think that putting in a new flywheel would be beneficial to what I've mentioned above? If so, I would probably put in the spec billet steel model. Also, I know some hate spec and some love them, would my car...being daily driven and probably daily driven for a while after putting a 383 in it, would it be wise to go with the 3 or just try my luck and save my $ with the 2? Any input would be helpful....thanks.

I'm in a similar situation. I've been seeing quite a bit of crap about the Stage III breaking. The Stage 1 says highly streetable for up to 400rwhp. I may go with that one.
