Need a clutch?

It seems as though I need a clutch. A couple times recently when I downshifted into first or second the tranny let out a loud whine. It has only done it a couple times, though. So I brought it into a shop and had them test drive it, he said it needed a clutch. said that the pedal had to be almost fully released to go or hardly have to push the pedal down to shift. fluid level was full. Also, if I need a clutch and keep driving it as is, what if any more damage am I going to do?

There's a Sticky at the top of ths section that should answer alot of your questions. As for if you keep driving it you could damage your flywheel.
