my transmission is messing up

i have a 95 z28 automatic. it has a torque converter and shift kit, it was running fine until last night. before then it would shift hard in first around 2200-2500 when drivinh easy but now it wont shift unless i let off the gas, it seems to be doing this in all the other gears also. it will only shift if i let off on the gas. what would cause this?

Trans may just be tired, But have you checked for codes ? Do you have a check engine light on ?

Jeremy,
I would check the TPS operation first. If you can gain access to a scanner which can watch data, you can see your TPS scrolling up. It should be around .5 Volts at idle, and be near 4.5 Volts at WOT.
What condition is the fluid in? Is it dark, discolored, or have a burnt smell?
If there's anything I can do to help, please feel free to give me a call. 302-250-1202

UPDATE- i changed the plugs yesterday because the old ones were fouled from running out of gas. i finally got it started and took it down my road and it shifted fine down the road and back to my house. do you think it is a computer shorting or something?
