Is my Tranny or Clutch going out?

This morning driving to class, my 94 Z28 was acting up. It was making a clicking sound, and was having problems accelerating, and jumping when ever it got past 2k RPMS, anyone know what may be causing this? It is my trannsmission or my clutch? It also idles real hard...it has also been griding in first and second also.

A better description was it was holding at 2000 RPMS while driving in gear, then when I would give it more gas it would jump from 2000-2500 real hard. When in idle it was vibrating real bad, unless I gave it gas, and got the rpms up past 1000

Sonds like you have a few problems. If your tach is jumping up like that your clutch is probably going, but i would get the car running properly first.

Is it throwing any codes. any SES light
