My slave cylinder fell off

My clutch had been feeling funny. Kind of popping when I depressed the pedal and letting out sooner than normal. I checked the fuild it was okay. Then at a 4 way stop the clutch when clear to the floor and stayed there.

I looked under the car and here's what happened. There are two nuts that hold the slave cylinder in place The top one loosened and fell off. This made the clutch feel funny. The stress was so great on the remaining flange it just broke off. It's plactic so I am trying some two-part plastic weld . I'll see if this holds or I have to buy a new housing /slave cyinder.
