McCloud Single Disk

Can you use the McCloud single disk with a stock Pressure plate and throwout bearing or would I need to change them as well. I need a new clutch and I am on a budget. Thanks.

Yes you can. Almost all of our PPs are Valeos. I am putting a single disk in with my specII PP. My PP has some hot spots but is still smooth. Hope it works out.

Won't be running for another week or so.

Sweet. I am gonna get the flywheel resurfaced and just reuse the pressure plate. Will I need a new throwout bearing or can I reuse the old one??

Re: McCloud Single Disk

My take on it. Last time i used a used clutch setup I regretted it. Worked fine for about 3k miles then the throwout bearing started to squeel.

Don't know where to get one cheap, but if you can find one swap it. I am pulling a bearing off another PP because mine was making some bad noise last time.

Not worth the trouble to pull the tranny again for 1 little bearing.

Alright, I'll see if I can pick up a throwout bearing. The pressure plate will be alright to use again correct???

I also wanted to reuse my Centerforce pressure plate along with a Mcleod disk. Has anyone done this? I can't afford a twin street right now.
