Manually Locking Converter

95 4L60E fully built with a 3400 converter. I did the swap from an M6 and I think I have everything wired up as it should ( Brake switch, etc).

The converter doesnt lock UNLESS I ground D11 (Tan and Blk) Running to the TCC solenoid "T", in which case it locks up nicely. Also, I get no codes by doing this.

I dont DD the car and really only need lockup driving the 30 miles or so to the track while in OD.

Can I manually lock this thing up (with a switch) while in OD on the trip with no ill effects on the trans? like you could on a 700R4.

Thanks guys

If the swap was done correctly you should not be having this issue, However yes you can lock it the way you are however it must not be locked during any shift up or down doing so can cause severe damage to the trans and or converter.
