Manual valve body on the street

How far can I drive a manual vb on the street?
just need to know if I can make a 20 mile trip....other than that the car is not driven on the street
Also I have a 5k stall.... will it get to hot?

just need to make a short late night trip soon

the manual valve body will be ok, the torque converter will get hot but depending on the converter it may be ok, we run late night street races and run 4500 stalls on some of the cars and use ger converters and not had alot of problems. you have a tall gear and i guess run around 3800 rpm at 60mph. short trip should be fine, i used to run my 3500 stall on the street with 3.73 gears for 10,000 miles a year

Better have a good tranny cooler. The VB won't be an issue but the converter may be.

You can drive it on the street until the car runs out of fuel..... there is no limitation inherent to the manual valve body that would present any problems. Heat is an issue, but a good cooler - in my case a fan assisted cooler - is required.
