M6 Problems

I'm having a problem with my 98Z. I can't get it to go into any gear at all. The only way I can get it into a gear is to shut the car off, put it in gear, then turn it on, other than that I cant even force it in(which I really dont want to do anyway). Also the clutch is real sloppy now, and when its pressed all the way to the floor its still engaged a little bit. My clutch seemed fine until this happened, and i wasnt screwing around when it did happen......Any ideas???? Thanks.

Re: M6 Problems

If the clutch is sloppy and wont go into gear, that sounds like the problem or the slave cylinder which is inside the bellhousing on your LS1 not engaging/disengaging the clutch correctly. Probably going to have to drop the trans and find out.
