LT1 Tcc Lockup Question (tune related)
I cannot figure this out...unless it is just by design maybe. Ive researched and haven't found much in relation to what im experiencing.
I can be going in third gear , with the selector in 3rd and it will lockup at 45mph, as I have it set in my tune. Now if I put my gear selector in OD while say going 48mph, still locked up, it will unlock. Why is this??? I have my 4th(gear, not lockup) set to change at 50mph btw. It will lock up as soon as it hits fourth. And this is with lockup set to 45mph in both 3rd and 4th like factory.I think it should stay locked in 3rd until the shift.... no?
I can show my tables if needed/requested , but I have went over them many times and nothing in there is showing me why it is doesn't lock up in OD until it hits the 4th gear.
The car is a 97 Formula LT1 4l60e nothing special done....
Many thanks in advance

Re: LT1 Tcc Lockup Question (tune related)
Let's move this to the "Drivetrain" forum. There's a trans rebuilder that checks in once a week, or so, and usually has excellent advice.

It's been awhile since I've been in lt1 edit, but I believe you probably have an issue where the unlock table is in disagreement with the lock up table. I seem to remember having this issue myself when I was fine tuning my car. If you can email me your tune, I will have a look when I get a minute. 're reading your post, you're manually creating a gear change request, and that in itself may be part of the software, but either way and me the bin and I will see if I can find anything
