I am in need of an inspection cover to round out all of my parts for my T56 swap into my 93 Z28. I was searching around and found the following part on GMPartsdirect. Can anyone confirm that this is an OEM inspection cover?

This is the part # 10241153 I show for the 93-97 T56 inspection cover. I have read that it is a discontinued part but this place seems to have one. GM Parts Direct The msrp is only $6.23. I would just check with a local dealer for something that price.

For some reason the link I posted above says GM Parts Direct but it is a different company than the one you posted.

Thanks for the info! I placed an order for 10241153 from that other GM site and they contacted me later that day to inform me that the part was discontinued. I guess I am back on the hunt!

I too have been looking for a T56 inspection cover for my '97 Z28. (The DPO must have removed it and lost it). I Tried NAPA, Chevy dealer and AAMCO transmission with no luck. The GM dealer had a part number, but it was discontinued. I figure if I can't find one, I will make one out of thin sheet steel.

Hey guys, I just posted one of these on ebay last week auction ends in 2 days if your interested. It came off my 96 Z28 with T56 and has no damage. I am doing an LS1 so, I don't need it anymore.

Are you the guy that I msg'd on ebay about ending the auction early? If so, that was me I have most of the 4L60 to T56 swap finished and will need an inspection plate by the weekend.

Yea, that's me. :-) Oh, that shouldn't be a problem man. What part of the country are you in? I will ship on Wednesday morning and going through USPS I could only imagine it be there at least by end of day Saturday.
