LT1 Stock torque arm

Any way to make it perform better on the track with do it yourself tech? Bracing or boxing it up and such? Just about to start playing around with the stock rear.

1 old trick is to oblong the holes so you can dip down the pinion angle. I have see some friends cars go into the high 10's doing it.
