LT1 slave cylinder assembly?

LT1 slave cylinder assembly?
Why does Autozone sell just the slave cylinder and GM must sell the whole assembly. I mean if you fill the slave properly you shouldn’t have any air bubbles so why wont GM sell the assembly separate? Do you see any cons to buying the just the slave cylinder?
