LT1/LS1 T56 Differences?

LT1/LS1 T56 Differences?
Well the forum search seems to be borked right now, so Anyone know what the differences between the LT1 & LS1 T56's? The bug question is can I use a LS1 T56 by using my bell housing, I know thats different but not if anything else is. My T56 is going south and need a replacement and as cheap as possible.

The "search" function isn't broke... its just a bit ornery.
Set up your search. The first time you click the "search" button, it may not do anything. Just click it a second time. Next thing that will happen... it may immediately tell you "no matches found". Click the "back" button on your browser and return to the setup screen. Click "search" again, and it will finally work.
