LS1 clutch disks work in LT1's

My friend< Jason and I put a LS1 disc in his LT1. The LS1 disc was custom made at a local transmission shop/clutch shop for my other friend's 2000 Camaro SS. The LS1 disc works fine

I asked this question in the Drivetrain tech but have gotten no replys.
So will a z06 disc work? And whats the difference in Disc structure and design. What lets it hold 405hp vs an LT4's rated 330hp?

Yeah they have different part numbers and I was told LS1 disks wouldnt fit LT1s. We looked at both. Both were the same size. He's been running it for about 7000 miles now. Its considered a stage 3 clutch too.

So it leads me to believe maybe i can use a z06 clutch?

This really looks like something that belongs in the "Drivetrain" forum.... moving it there.
