LS1 clutch adjustment

My buddy just got a 2000 WS6 with 17,000 miles on it and his clutch feels much shorter than mine and it starts grabbing right off the floor board. On the other hand mine starts grabbing 3 to 4 inches off the floor board.
I like the feel of his trans am beater than i do on my car. Has his clutch been adjusted or is mine just messed up?
If it can be adjusted how do you do it?

There are no adjustments on the stock hydraulics but I would say that yours is more normal than his is. I doubt his clutch is fully disengaging if you can feel the car move when it comes right off the floor board. I would say your friend needs an adjustable master cylinder... If you want your to feel like his I guess you could use an adjustable master cylinder too...
