lost 3rd and 4th gear

I have a 7004r transmission and 2 days ago it started acting up.....if i floored or gave it about 3/4 throttle it took forever to shift and was shifting at and above 7000rpm. So i started taking it easy and tried not to make it do that anymore but yesterday as i was going down the road and it just never shifted into 4th gear, it just wasnt there anymore. I tried to make my way home and then i lost 3rd gear. I still have 1st and 2nd, but if i give it about half throttle or more all it does is revv up like it's in neutral.

The tranny wasnt making any noises either.

I had the governor in the tranny replaced about 2 months ago, could it be the same problem?....or is the tranny just blown now?

The 3-4 clutch pack is gone, very common. Are you wanting to do the rebuild on this yourself? There are many upgrades that you can do to this unit to make it last. Let me know if I can be of help?

In stock form, the 3-4 clutch pack is a weak area of the 700 and 4L60E. We make many modifications in this area to help them live in high HP/high RPM applications.
