I would really like to know this too. My car is 95% track and I do not need the convenience of the automatic lockup. Plus, I would like to keep things simple for me to hook up. I am not a wiring guy!

just leave the 4 pin connector off. the stall will never lock then.

Your best bet would be to put a non-lockup valve conversion in the pump. This changes the lube circuit, and gives the 3-4's the cooling they need, without lock-up.

Thanks! You're definitely not part of it. If I mess it up, I know whose fault it is.

Another question for you...

The wire comes from the 4th switch and goes to the temp switch, then from there to the computer. Then the switched ground comes back in, but goes to the temp switch first. Why does it do that an not just go straight to the ground side of TCC solenoid?

Yep. It's been going strong since whenever I got it going.

Back in May or April.

How did you end up wiring it up?

It's been so long, I forget exactly what I did. I do know that I used a toggle switch, though, and I think it's on the power wire.

Just an update...

I have over 25,000 miles on this now with no cooler and NO problems. Tranny has almost 200,000 miles on it now. Came out of a 91RS with 167,000 + my 25,000.
