Limited Slip Differential Fluid

Had a buddy change my differential fluid about 2 weeks ago, and when i made turns I could hear a weird noise. I found out he didn't add the Limited Slip fluid. How bad is this?

He put in Valvoline 75W-90 (non synthetic)

Thanks

Re: Limited Slip Differential Fluid

Like I said NO Harm, some people don't even use the additive in their LSD rears with NO failures.

You don't need to change the brand new fluid. You need to add a 5 oz. bottle of GM Limited Slip Differential additive.
