It is DESIGNED for handling large ammounts of torque, and most driving around isnt a high-torque scernario. by the way... mine didnt break in fully until 2500 miles. at that point i got frustrated with it so I intentionally flogged it and got it hot. it was 50% better the next day That being said, its still not an easy clutch to please.
wait wait I hope I didn't pay 680$ for no reason. When I hardly press the gas pedal on 3rd shift at 3000rpm, I feel its slipping, I even can heard the sound of exhaust slipping with clutch. And the car doesn't accelerate well.

if your clutch is slipping after being installed... theres a good chance something didnt get put together right. if theres one thing my spec 3 doesnt do its slip. ive chirped 4th a couple of times.

it was not slipping at first. When it started to slipping, I removed the clutch and saw it was not regular color, was black color. (burned?) The thing is, this is my first clutch experience. (you can see on my sign I did swap from A4 to M6). So I didn't know that I should wait clutch breakin. I didn't wait for breakin. I think thats the reason. Bad experience.

depending on what you did to it, that could be the reason. I wouldnt think it would be that easy to mess up though.

Breakin has a lot to do with the life of the clutch. It could be possible that since you didn't break it in, it is slipping really bad.

maybe you have an oil leak. My camaro has a fairly new slp clutch in it. It also has a rear seal oil leak. It slips like crazy. I took more time with my TA and its been alot better.

clutch brake in is overrated i allways just sliped it with the brakes on tell it got hot then let it cool down then repeated. it allways worked well for me. you try and tell a customer they have to drive there car a certen way for 500+miles and see what they say.

I've had two (2) Spec 3's on an Alum fly behind a 383 D1 blown. All have chattered upon slow engagement. I engage it fast and no problem. Also, a slipping clutch could be a hyd line restriction, since, gm installed a small oriface to bleed pressure slowly (you know... drivability). Not a good thing for modding. Possibly a cleaning or a drilling of the orifice (inside the line) would be in order. I've seen other posts on this. I punish my clutch. B.
