interchange?

interchange?

will a 1997 4l60e from a trans am with an lt1, bolt up fine with no mods needed, such as bellhousing swap, or pcm flashed...to my 1995 camaro with a 4l60e?

mine is goin south, and i found this one cheap!

The PCM will need to be flashed. 1997 used a different 3-2 downshift control strategy, so the valvebodies and solenids are different. You can either get the PCM re-flashed to operate as a '97 tranny, or you can swap the valvbody and solenoids over from the '95
