Installing SPEC clutch need HELP!

I am installing a spec stage 3 on my 94z. I installed a new pilot bushing. I got the clutch alignment tool. My question is when you insert the tool to align the clutch disk on the flywheel and install the pressure plate on top and tighten it down, what are the torque spec on the pressure plate. I noticed when using the tool and inserting it all the way into the pilot bearing. It aligns it straight, but having the disk rest on the tool, it tends to bend alittle and be not in perfectly straight. Should I have someone hold it to get it perfectly centered??? Also, what kinda greese should i use on the input shaft etc, if any.

Thankyou so much Mark Tisdale

As for alignment, i'll be a little vague as this is how i did it. I just kept the tool as straight as possible with the crankshaft surface while inserting 2 PP bolts on opposite sides of the plate and tightening them BY HAND (you should feel the tool's end face bottom out on the bearing surface, you'll want to be perpendicular with it). Once you get the bolts just snug enough to keep the disk from moving around by it's own weight, wiggle the tool around in circles until you find a good center ( the disk should be able to move slightly without falling). Then tighten the 2 bolts just a tad more to lock it into place. Then insert the rest of the bolts and tighten them by hand. Then tighten each bolt one turn in a star pattern until all the PP prongs are just about to touch the flywheel, where it begins to be tough to turn the ratchet. From there, set your torque wrench to 22 ft.lbs and tighten the bolts in a star pattern again. You should be able to push the input shaft into the hub fairly easily after turning the shaft to align the splines. Just make sure you pump the clutch pedal a few times before starting the engine to let the disk "find" it's proper seating position. Then start it, pump the pedal a few more times while in neutral, and then drive away.

Some will say all this isn't necessary, but you want to keep the pressure even across all sides of the clutch disk or you risk deformation of the disk. If that happens, all your work just went down the drain.

Exactly... be really carely with this step. You have to tighten down each of the pressure plate bolts in a criss-cross patter and in small incriments. Don't crank one down, then the next etc.. Tighten them up slowly.
