Installing new carrier

How hard is it to install a new carrier i wanted to just buy the gears but my friend has a carrier that he was going to sell me for 125 with 342's on it i currentley have the 273's on my stock a4 camaro z28 can someone please help me out i am sick of my 273 gears lol they are slow

Its not really any harder at all to change the carrier if your going to change the ring and pinion. Biggest thing would be the bearings... you should be replacing all the bearings anyways since you got it all apart.

carrier

i have allready replaced my wheel bearings on each side of the axle is that what u are talking about, And also do u no any sites that have step by step or i could use while installing it
