Installing gears, which ones?

I searched and searched trying to decide what gear set to buy, and am really stumped on which ones to go with. The car has 3:23's stock, and when I build this broken rear I want to get some more performance out of it. I plan on possibly making a FEW 1/4 mile passes, but mostly want out of the hole performance for the street. Its a 94 LT1 A4 car. I have 4:10's in my chevelle and know how they are on a th350, however what about on the A4? How much of a difference will I see between 3:73's and 4:10's? I mostly enjoy messing around town with the car, dont go real fast, or care much about gas mileage. Would 4:10's be too much? What RPM would I expect to cruise at around 80 MPH with the converter locked up? Thanks for the help!

A little more Info, the car will possibly get a converter at some point too. It has a cat back, CAI. I will be installing headers, SFC's, and LCA's when the rear is done. Thanks
Jon

For what you want go with the 4.10s. Since your not worried about gas mileage why the heck not? My 3.73s turn the motor about 3000-3100rpm at 80mph so you'd be looking at around 3300-3400rpm.

What he said. Id usually recomend the 3.73s for more of a street car, but since you dont usually drive fast, and dont care about milage, then why not go with the 4.10's.

Re: Installing gears, which ones?

I decided on 3:73's only because if I do decide to race the car i wont be running out of gear. Thanks for the input, and ill let you know how the install goes. Should all be here next week, so time to get the old one apart and cleaned up! Thanks
