installed 10 bolt 4:10 rear-end need help ?

we put two quarts of redline gear oil and a bottle of gm limited slip additive and it is real loud i had to go back and park it!

i should be a little more clear, i bought this whole rear end (complete) off a guy from the board i'm trying to figure out the problem it seems like the faster i go it gets real bad and when i let go of the gas it also is loud.

i know this is not normal i know the differnce between noisy and loud and this thing is whining real hard like if there is something grinding.

oh i would like to thank frank cahall at cpt transission for the race rebuild tranny thatwas also installed and that went perfect with absolute no problem's he is a good guy to do buisness with oh i still owe him $49 shhhh i only drove the car for about 1/2 a mile and i could tell that tranny was built 100% bad ***.

i'm thinking its something i did or my buddy he did most of the work !

Gears properly set up should not be noisy. If the noise is more when you let up on the gas, that can be a back lash problem. If they are noisy all the time, the only remedy is to pull the rear cover and check for broken parts and recheck the settings. Good Luck

well he is a good guy i don't think he ripped me off, i took the fill plug off and oil dripped out of there i took the cover off and closely looked at the teeth on the ring and it looks like there slightly grinded just a tick.
