I just put my 95 lt1 t56 back together and i realized when my new input shaft seal it was not the same. I relize now that there are two input shaft seals out there as ive done some researching. Does it matter if i change my seal out for another will it work with the driveshaft and not leak or do i have to replace it with the same one?

just want to know if its safe moving from one seal to another although they are different.
