Impressions of the Yank SS4000

I replaced my current converter, Midwest 3600/2.0, to an Yank SS4000/2.60 and it is a bit looser. The looseness was similar to my first converter, Yank TT3000/3.0, when I still had 2.73's. On level ground, the car will Barely creep when the brake is released. When the road is slightly inclined, it just sits there with no brakes applied. The Midwest was a little tighter than I wanted and the Yank SS4000 is right up my alley. The car will flash to 2500 rpm when starting to move from a stoplight. The lock-up is perfect and no chattering with stock lock-up speeds. The Midwest TC was 38lbs and the Yank SS is 29lbs and should provide some great 60 ft's. I haven't romped on it yet but, the midrange is much better and pulls good. This converter would be on the hairy edge with some people who daily drive the car. I will be daily dribving it and foresee no issues. I was considering the PT4000 and that would have been too loose with my 3.42's. I am planning to break it in for 200 miles and will have a WOT update next week.
