I Need a Clutch

I put a centerforce dual friction in my car a couple of years ago and now it is slipping like crazy. I can barely get the car moving anymore. I will also be getting a flywheel. Does anyone have any reccomendations? Streetability is not really an issue.

if you can afford it get teh Mcleod street twin. if not Mcleod also makes a single disc set for around half what the twin does, but you will have to buy a flywheel seperatley

I had the mcleoud street twin in my car.

Let me say that it was the most awesome clutch I have EVER used. Bottom line is the price, it costs 3 times as much as a regular clutch. But if you want the best, you get thebest.

Customer service is awesome to, I had an incident where I was using slicks and a 150 shot of nitrous and I stripped the input shaft on the tranny(I have a 12-bolt to) as well as a little of the splined hubs on the clutch disks. Sent them to mcleoud they replaced the hubs for me. (the input shaft was WEAKER then the splined hubs, the shaft was stripped when the clutch was holding on so strong that the input shaft was the WEAKEST LINK!)

Lets say that **** holds strong when the tranny input shafts strips before the clutch slips! muhahaha

about $1100 for the street twin and $450-$500 for the single disc.

I paid over $800 for my centerforce (I lived in Hawaii at that time. Things are expensive out there), so $1100 is not to bad. I might go with that. How streetable is it?
