Should have figured it was time for my clutch to come out! I have a centerforce clutch and it started slipping last week. ? is can I just install a new clutch disk instead of having to buy the whole ckutch kit.(College student trying to pench pennies)

motor specs are...

cold air kit, pulleys, msd 6al, throttle body, airfoil, and 175 shot nitrous

Past couple years havent raced it any but may in the future.So if just a clutch disk wont work, any recommendations?

 

u can just replace the Clutch disk...but it is $185 from summit and i dont even know if that is the DF disk...u may as well just but a Ram Powergrip...they are cheaper, and they are good clutches..chances are ur TO bearing is getting worn too..they are another $135, so i would just buy a new kit..

 

aaaaaaaaa....i hope thats a typo and i dont see that you have a 175 shot on that LT1..lol id step it down a few jets untill you get some forged internals....dont ask me how i know that.... a 125 shot should be all good for now

Centerforce will not sell the DF discs seprately . The disc at summit is likely the CF2 or gold (i cant remember).But you can likely just get a disc from summit or someone else to hold ya over!
