What are your mods? Where do you get it rebuilt or is it new? I would look into getting a more professional rebuild rather than stock or local tranny shop rebuild.

A lot of people are giving great feedback on CPT. Check them out, I will be this summer.

1st, stop blowing tranny's. I'm sure there is a nice girl out there for you. Just kidding. What are you doing w/ the car? Drag racing, daily driver, street strip? Too much abuse? Too much HP/TQ?

sorry to hear your having trouble with it. A TH350/400 is also a piece of junk when it isnt built right. What kind of power are you trying to put thru it?

If a 4L60E is built right it will hold up.

I have a CPT trans also... it held up to my 11.80's with no problems. Its going back into my car with the new motor that should be good for 10's. I have no doubt the trans will hold up.

If you send it to us, it'll be the last one you ever buy. I don't care what kind of abuse you're putting it through. We've got 4L60E's in 9 second cars.

What is your current transmission doing/not doing?

Feel free to give me a call, or check out our web page. 302-250-1202

Thanks,
Frank

Someone on here told me that it looked like my 2-4 band was going out only after I got my rebuilt less than a year ago. Does this place work on 93 trannys?

The car is a daily, it's never been to the strip since i've done every thing to the motor... the mods are
CC305, Ported and polished heads, full intake, Long tubes, 3.73's, 52mm tb., 32lb injectors, full CC valve train, some other little stuff i foregot, and it used to have a shift kit in this tranny, the tranny wont go into 3rd if i'm giving it any thing around 25 percent throttle or more and if i let off it in 3rd the rpms drop like it slipped out of gear till i give if more gas. Second is starting to slip when i give it any thing around 40 percent throttle.. It's from western engines and transmission's. they said it should be able to handle about 350 to 400 hp but i don't think i'm pushing much more than 350 to the wheels. i don't know what to do and i don't have much money.. i really haven't beat on it to much cause they weather has been ****ty.. the one time i did get a chance to get on it the car wont catch traction in any gear up to over drive so i don't know the hp rating...oh well

We could build you a "Pro Race" rebuild for probably less than what you paid for the last one. For the month of december, we're building them for $1300 + hard parts (if any).

Thanks,
Frank

you'll get a lot less for a car with a bad trans... your better off fixing it. Sounds like you need a rebuild..

listen to 12scndz, spend the extra(if any) and get it done right and it will be the last build youll ever need...ive beaten on mine for almost a year with n20 ect and alot of HARD launches...alot of track passes and too many street passes to count...its the best tranny out there, best part is prolly most of your local guys chage just as much for a stock rebuild
