Re: hp threshold for stock T-56

I have alot of them out there with slight mods like billet keys and bronze fork pads make well over 700rwhp and 750rwtq. They are street drivers, road racers and street racers.

Re: hp threshold for stock T-56

You will want to upgrade to billet keys, steel fork and bronze fork pads and then yes it will hold.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: hp threshold for stock T-56

from your name, i am gonna assume you rebuild t-56's , what price range am I looking for for that, and about how much down time?

If i didnt have those parts...when, and what would break?

gonna be putting 550-600 at the wheels, and estimating a low 10 second 1/4 after the build-up.

Re: hp threshold for stock T-56

If you knew what you were doing it could all easily be done in a day and should run you somewhere in the ballpark of $400 + labour. That would also include all the parts you'd need to rebuild the synchros, since it'd be stupid not to spend the extra bucks if you're going to tear the transmission apart.
