i just rebuild my trans cause i thought i had a vibration it. i found the forward clutchs flat wore out, the wireing harness was so brittle it fell apart during disassemble. aside from those the rest look pretty good for 148,000 miles on it. during reassemble i went ahead and put the corvete servo in it. runs like a champ now. but still chasing the driveline vabration.

Good deal. Try an aluminum driveshaft yet? Do you have a poly tranny mount? Did you check to see if the exhaust is rubbing anything?

just put all new mounts in (tranny, torsional),still have stock split drive shaft w/carrier bearing, i did just turn the drive shaft 180 degrees today and the vibrations seems to have gotten a little bit less, so i figure i may try putting in a new carrier bearing and new u-joints and see if that helps
