Question How to properly measure driveshaft length?

My new tranny should be here soon and after it's in the car I need to take measurements for a custom driveshaft. Does anyone have an illustration showing what points to measure from? Any advice is great appreciated, I want to get it right the first time.

You want to get these directions from the guy making the driveshaft, not from us. I've seen different ways from different vendors.

There are multiple methods as illustrated here: http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/html...o_measure.html

As Dave said, be sure the folks making your shaft know how you did the measurements.
