How much gear oil do I need?

I have a 95 z28 m6. How many quarts will I need to change out my gear oil? I'm going to use royal purple, does anyone have any comments about royal purple? Thanks.

2 qts. should do you fine. Royal Purple is good, so is Amsoil, Redline, pretty much any sythetic gear oil, use the GM posi additive though

Get 2 quarts but it holds 2.9 pints.. and yes, the GM additive..
