How flush is the pilot bearing suppose to be? {PIC INSIDE}

How flush is the pilot bearing suppose to be? {PIC INSIDE}

We pounded it in as far as it would go, it sounds like its bottomed out. Is there a lip which stops it from goin back too far? Here is a pic, is it far enough in?

Looks good to me, if possible, i know its a bitch to take out, but maybe goto autozone and get the bushing insted of the berring. I'm sure alot of people would agree also, but yes it looks good to me. I've done it a few times, and that looks perfect.

looks good, btw bearing is a lot better then the bushing

K thanks for the help. Just wanted to make sure it was right so I didnt end up taking everything off again. I used the wet toilet paper method to get the old one out, worked pretty good. Took about an hour but just had to keep at it and it worked.
