how do you convert a 95 Z28 4l60e to work in a 94 Z28

This is in refrence to " https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=614260 " Sorry if i broke the rules as to double threds..but..its kinds not a double?

i spoke with Performabuilt and he said that the cause of my problem is most likly that TCC sylinoid not being enabled in my 94. I found out its not just the 2-3 shift, but after about 50 or so mph, if i punch it it would NOT grab for the life of me, but would haveto cruze to speeds. I was able to go 110 MPH with just a litte TPS. No matter what, I punch it, and no grab just redline.

He told me if I emailed him @ info@performabuilt.com he would help explain how to do it with some pictures. I understand that he is VERY busy, so im asking the rest of the comunity aswell while I wait. When I do this (sence I guess ill be removing tranny pan) ill be changing filter and ALL the fluid (by external trans cooler lines)

All the help I could get would be great. Please, please be as specific as you can get, I dont want to blow anything up.

Thank you ALL!!!

Edit:
He just emailed me, and this was the email sent.

You will have to pull the pan on the passengers side toward front of the trans you will see a solenoid do not remove it. just to the right of this solenoid you head facing front of car if laying on your back you well see a valve this valve must be stroked toward the front of the car and pinned in place, This should corect your lockup issue
Pictures are included use a screw driver and hammer or punch to stick valve as shown
Frank

So..I just wack this thing a little to give it some room to "breeth"??

basically it changes a PWM valve body into a non PWM valve body by keeping that valve the TCC regulator valve fully stroked to the outside of the valve body

ok everything is done, i droped the pan, did all the good stuff, but...when i droped the pan took the filer out and unscrewed one screw from this black thing that was right below the place i needed to wack, the sylinoid was allready open....?? but i wacked it anyways to make sure it stays like that. Is it soposed to be like that from the begining?

As of rightr now I cant test it due to a flat tire.. But hopefully someone could give me input on the sylinoid allready being open??

Also, how much fluid should the (stock) pan have in it?

Also, i noticed two(2) wires that were in the black harness that i had to remove one bolt from, were spliced a little (wires were showing)...I THINK one was black and one was orange or red) but there were on the same connector of 2 wires. (looked like it was "soposed" to be there, prefect splice)
