HELP ! Changing tranny mount in driveway?

I have a 2000 SS T56

do you think it would be tricky to change out the tranny mount with just jack stands and a floor jack?? Or bite the 20.00-30.00 bullet and take it to lift.

Thanks for the help

Should be exactly the same for a much wider number of GM vehicles and years

Re: HELP ! Changing tranny mount in driveway?

it's cake to swap...

get the car on jack stands
put the jack under the trans
unbolt the trans mount from the crossmember
unbolt the 4 bolts holding the crossmember
unbolt the 4 bolts holding the mount to the trans

reverse
