Having trouble shifting, please step inside to help...
I have been having some issues with my 98 Formula M6 when trying to shift into gears. The clutch feels fine (grabs fine and doesn't slip), and the shifter seems to travel smoothly, but as soon as it gets into gear sometimes I get a loud grind. Mostly this happens in 3rd or 5th, but I have felt it in other gears as well. The clutch petal is all the way to the floor when shifting, but it grinds loudly when shifting at times. I am getting a new shifter in a few days, but I doubt that fixes the problem. Once I do get it in gear, it seems to stay there, and not pop out of gear, or act out of the norm at that point.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated (slave cylinder? syncros? shifting fork?).

mine does that too, except its doing it in first. the clutch is pushed to the floor and the damn thing either doesn't want to go in or grinds. it doesn't do it all the time but still. hmm..my guess would be syncros but i'm sure someone else with more knowledge will help
Not having much help here, I believe I have traced it down to the master cylinder. Especially because the 98-00 ones were a poor design that they changed in 01.
Now the question is, which is the best one to upgrade to? I need to do some more research. Anyone know if a Z06 or LS6 master cylinder will work in my 98 Formula's tranny?
