has anyone here done the "drill mod" on an M6?

Long story short i have a problem with missing gears on my car while going WOT. Ive had the car for 3 years now and have had my share of practice - i know its not my driving thats the problem. my shifter just gets blocked out of the gear i am trying to select under WOT and fast shifting conditions.

ive done a lot of searching on here about it over the past 2 years or so and never found anything related to such a problem, or anyone else having this problem, however my buddy found this article recently: http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...r_cylinder.htm (note half the writeup is for a master cylinder install)

im wondering if anyone here has done it and can confirm that it works/would fix my problem? just looking for some confirmation before i tear my hydraulics apart cause ive never done anything like that before. tia

i remmeber seeing a post about this before, if i still had the info saved id show it to ya to. If i remmeber right this was mainly an issue with the LS1 cars but i also think i saw somewhere that someone did it to an lt1 car too, but from whati read on here it does seem to help so good luck if you choose to do it!

I did my it to mine and saw no substantial change to the reaction of the hydraulics.
