Unhappy Hard to get in gear

Since the new clutch was installed (and PP, to bearing, finish flywheel) I have a hard time getting in gear. Especially first and reverse. If I pump the clutch it is much better, if not fine. Is this the slave, or master, or both or what? Is there an install guide for these items? TIA

I'm hoping for some answers here as well...

My car is hard to get into gear SOMETIMES... only first and reverse, and only if i'm at a complete stop...

It happens very sporatically... First I thought it was the wet weather, perhaps some moisture getting into something, but I had the car out the other day in the rain, and I didn't notice it at all...

My center force clutch is going on 4 years old however, so its soon gonna be time to replace it... I'm very intested in seeing how its going to look when its pulled! Its never slipped (that I can tell...) and the only issues i have is the difficulty getting into first and reverse...

There are quite a few posts about this problem in LT1 tech over the past few years, but nothing really concert came out of any of them I found...

I'll be watching this one for more news!

thanks everyone,

jeff

try bleeding the hydrolic system?

Does your pedal extend out as much as it did before?

The pedal feels the same, it just doesn't feel like it goes far enough. I push all the way, but it doesn't quite release. If I pump it up, the setup feels fine.

How much did they take off the flywheel? Is the friction point at the bottom? This might be the problem.

I am not sure how much they took off and you would have to explain the friction point thing to me. Wouldn't the pedal "sweet spot" move if the amount of surface was the problem?

friction point = where it engages, how far from the floor is it?

like stock, about 1/3 to 1/2 off the floor
