Guidepins on tranny came off, also cant shift WOT M6

Ok, well a couple weeks ago I decided to get on the car. Well it would not let me shift into any gears at a high RPM without serious force. Lately i've noticed the shifts being notchy and rough. I figured it had something to do with the hydraulics, so I pulled the slave to check for leaks. Well when i pulled it, a cylinder piece of metal came out so i immediately decided to pull the tranny. So when i pulled the tranny i found the other guidepin. They were both chewed up pretty good and i can see where it got thrown around on the pressure plate. Now my question is, do i need to get new guidepins, or should i just run without them? Second, do they belong in the bell housing or the tranny? And i guess ill figure out if i fixed my shifting problem after i get the tranny back in.

id guess the syncronizers are shot, but im no transmission expert, i only base this guess off of my own experience when mine were gone. My clutch essentially exploded and the combination of that and the syncronizers condition would not let me shift gears unless the car was shut off

just a guess

I just did a slight rebuilt with a new mainshaft, 3-4 steel fork and all new carbon fiber blockers. Synchros looked fine at the time and that was like two months ago. Plus i think it would be kind of crazy to have them all go out at the same time. I really just need to know if i need new guidepins, the shifting issue has to be hydraulic related.
