Got a PROBLEM!!!
ok well, i just got my new gears installed yesterday..cause my other ones got stripped out...well when i punch my car, ( i have a shift kit and **** done to my tranny) but when right before it his second gear it like feels as if it goes into neutral but makes a loud bang noise then when i let off the gas it all the sudden goes back into gear or some****...but it just started after the geear install and this has never happen..the 1st time it did it the ABS INOP light came on...do you guys think that the pinion NUt or w/e came loose? cause when i drive the car reg it drives fine, but when i punch it it does that weird ****...so im scared to drive my car fast!!
what should i do and what could be the problem?
please help
thanks

Take the differential cover off and look inside. Pay particular attention to the ABS sensor and look for metal particles. When you refill it don't forget any additive you may need like limited slip etc.
BTW, went to your webshot site Sure wish I had help like that to wash mine.

My bet is your shift points are off and your bouncing the rev limiter, once you let off it shifts and all is well, I would put my money on that.

hmm, around 2-3 and around 35-40 mph it cuts off, it still drives but slips bad....but 3rd is still going stron but the car is at the tranny shop...
but what would cause the ABS INOP light?

It could be the vehicle speed sensor, that would cause the abs light but I'm not sure about the tranny issues, sounds like the the tranny, dont thing the torque converter, but I'm no trans expert. Just a guy who works in a carb shop.
