What year? Also what ratio is currently in there? The series of the posi carrier will play a part in which gears to buy.

Re: GM stock 10 bolt

The 10 bolt in camaros are 7.5/7.625", and spline count of what? The pinion? I don't know what spline count you got 41 from, but the pinion is 27 I believe. Posi series will tell you exactly which gears to buy. Also, you will want the car retuned sometime so the odometer, and speedometer read correctly. Otherwise the milage will be higher then what it really is, and your speed will read higher then what it really is. What kind of car is this going into, manual or auto? 4.10 can be a lot of gear for an auto on the highway. If it is a manual then it is alright.

You can't say that without knowing the year of the car. GM used three different gear diameters in 10-bolt housings over the 36 years that the F-Bodys were manufactured.

Until he tells us the year of the car, there's no point in providing possibly faulty info.

You have a point. I assumed it was 3rd or 4th gen. Well if it's 3rd/4th gen related, then read what I posted. If not, then ignore it.

To add, you'll need to know if you have a series 2 or a series 3 carrier. (3rd, 4th gen). 3.08 and lower ratios are series 2, 3.23 and higher are series 3.
